Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a traffic stop.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they stopped James C. Albright, 53, of Pcoono Lake, about 12:07 a.m. on Jan. 17 along SR940 and Sir Bradford Road, in Tobyhanna Township, after observing numerous traffic violations.

Albright showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests.

He was then transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The test results showed a .21BAC.

Charges were filed, police added.
