Fairway Subaru 'Shares The Love' with the Make-A-Wish Foundation

Fairway Subaru, Hazleton Township, made a donation recently to the Make-A-Wish Foundation via Subaru's 5th annual "Share The Love" program.

During the event, which took take place from November 19, 2012 - January 3, Fairway Subaru donated $50 to Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia for every Subaru vehicle purchased or leased. In addition, nationally, Subaru of America donated $250 to the customer's choice of five charities, including Make-A-Wish, during this time frame.

The total donated via Fairway Subaru of Hazle Township, was $2,650, which went to Make-A-Wish's Scranton Regional Office.

Make-A-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children, aged 2 and a half to 18, with life-threatening medical conditions.

Currently, the Scranton chapter is one of the most active in the country - having fulfilled more than 13,500 wishes.
