Published January 15. 2013 05:02PM

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, along Maury Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Erika L. Moyer, 44, of Summit Hill, was driving a 2012 Toyota Corolla northbound, just south of SR903, and attempting to negotiate a left curve and lost control. Moyer over-compensated for the curve with the car spinning counter-clockwise. The car went onto the berm and struck a utility pole.

The police report indicates that Moyer was injured with Lake Harmony ambulance on scene. The report also indicates Moyer was not taken to any hospital.

Troopers cited Moyer for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
