Published January 11. 2013 05:02PM

A Carbon County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash in Lehigh County that was caused by drifted snow on the road. State police at Fogelsville said the accident occurred about 5:27 a.m. on Jan. 5 along Golden Key Road (SR863), in Weisenburg Township.

Troopers said Nicholas M. Rasavage, 25, of Palmerton, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo northbound when he encountered snow on the road. He lost control of the car which went onto the berm and struck a snow embankment on the east side.

After impact with the front end, the car began to travel up the embankment and then rolled over onto its left side coming to rest facing east.

Rasavage was not injured.
