Vincent M. Garofalo, 18, of Trevose, is facing multiple charges for leaving the scene of a one-car accident at 2:19 p.m. Dec. 26 along Route 143 (King's Highway) in Lynn Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said he was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee westbound when he lost control of it while negotiating a left curve in the highway. The Jeep drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a garage at 8321 King's Highway.Police said Garofalo fled on foot in an unknown direction and was later identified. He will be cited for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, duty to give information and render aid, careless driving, abandonment of a vehicle, failure to drive at a safe speed and driving on roadways laned for traffic.Police said he was uninjured.The vehicle was towed from the scene by Soley's Towing.
