Pleasant Valley's Dakota Everett was recently selected to play for the East team in the annual Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star game. The game will be played at Dowingtown West High School on May 5.

Everett was selected as an inside linebacker.

The Pleasant Valley senior was selected to the Pennsylvania Class AAAA All-State team this past season after leading the Bears to an 8-4 record and helping them advance to the District 11 championship game

Everett led the Bears with 163 tackles this season from his middle linebacker position. He recently accepted a scholarship to attend Stony Brook University in New York, a Division I Football Championship Subdivision Program, formerly Division I-AA.

Two other District 11 players will join Everett Easton linebacker Austin Brown and Parkland defensive back Jarel Elder on the East team.
