Drug charges

State police at Lehighton reported on two drug- related arrests.

On Feb. 21 about 4 p.m. troopers responded to the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Lower Towamensing Township for a report of a theft of a snowboard. Robert C. Myers, 30, of Northfield, N.J., was arrested for taking the snowboard of Ryan Ebbs, of Brigantine, N.J.

During a consent search incident to the theft arrest, Myers was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, troopers said. Charges will be filed.

On Feb. 22 about 1:34 p.m. troopers stopped Darren Jake Wanamaker, 19, of Lehighton, along Ochre Street in Lehighton, for a vehicle code violation.

At the stop Wanamaker was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He will be charged with the drug count.
