The festival will showcased the 123 student musicians representing Jim Thorpe, Palmerton, Panther Valley, Pleasant Valley, Lehighton, and Weatherly High Schools.

The concert program included marches, movie music, patriotic tunes, chorales, dramatic folk compositions, and contemporary works conducted by the directors of each respective school.

About the student musicians, host Director Shannon Shughart said "they're doing a fantastic job; in three days, they really put together a fantastic concert."

She noted that they accomplished this "in such little time but with a lot of work, discipline, and being focused."

The Weatherly Director finished by saying that "its truly a night of collaberation amongst the best student musicians."

The evening of music wrapped up with feature guest vocalists Rebekah McFadden, of "Becky and the Beasts" and Weatherly Junior Ms. Sarah Peiser performing "the Star Spangled Banner Finale".
