Summit Hill crash injures three

Three persons were slightly injured Thursday afternoon when involved in a single vehicle crash along the Lansford - Summit Hill hill. The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. with the car coming to rest on its roof in a ditch along the west berm of the roadway. The three occupants managed to free themselves from the wreckage and were then transported to St. Luke's Hospital, Coaldale by the Lansford ambulance. Summit Hill police, assisted by Lansford police, are investigating the incident. Meanwhile, at the scene, a member of the Summit Hill fire police became ill at the scene and was transported to the Coaldale Hospital.
