February 19, 1988 Tom McLaughlin pours in a game-high 25 points to help lead Marian to a 69-62 comeback win over Jim Thorpe and become the Colts' all-time leading scorer. McLaughlin increases his career point total to 1,373 to pass the former mark of 1,357 set by Caszy Kosciolek. McLaughlin's milestone moment comes late in the first half on a jumper. The Colts, coached by Sid Llera, use a 21-6 run during the middle frames to turn a deficit into a lead. Tom Marsilio contributes 13 points and 11 rebounds to the win while Rob Eckenrode chips in with 12 points.
