It's time to clean out your closet and help area children.

Gently-used prom and wedding dresses are being collected for the annual Prom & Wedding Dress Sale to be held from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe. Most dresses will be priced at just $10 (cash only).All proceeds from the even will benefit Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter.Organizers are accepting new and gently-used dresses and accessories, including jewelry, purses, shawls and shoes, from now through March 20.Items may be dropped off at Blue Ridge Communications offices in Palmerton, Gilbert, Lansford, Walnutport (behind the post office), Stroudsburg and Lehighton.For more information, contact Julianne Farina, marketing/public relations coordinator for Blue Ridge Communications, at (610) 826-9299.
