Published February 15. 2013 05:02PM

A Schuylkill County driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 4:13 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, along Mountain Road, in East Union Township.

State police at Frackville said Mary E. Singley, 34, of Nuremberg, was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee northbound and negotiating a slight left curve when she lost control on the snow-slicked roadway.

The Jeep slid to the right and struck the guide rail. It then slid across both lanes and impacted with a stone embankment along the southbound shoulder. After that impact the Jeep rolled over and back onto its wheels. The Jeep then rolled forward again, striking the embankment a second time. The Jeep came to rest straddling the southbound shoulder facing northeast.

Singley was taken by ambulance to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment of what troopers termed were moderate injuries.

She was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
