Palmerton Area School District has requested proposals for school food service management services.

The Food Service Management Company will provide management services according to United States Department of Agriculture regulations and guidelines, as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Education policies and guidelines.Superintendent Carol Boyce said "the food service contract is mandated by the state and we are requesting proposals in accordance with that required process."Food Service Management companies and/or their representatives may submit proposals to Palmerton Area School District, Attn: Diane Serfass, Business Manager, 680 Fourth Street, Palmerton, PA 18071.The district will accept proposals until 9 a.m. Friday, March 8. A walk-through meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 680 Fourth Street, Palmerton.
