Homes of Honor parenting series offered in Tamaqua

A Homes of Honor parenting series is currently being offered at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine Street.
The series, taught by Danette Roberts, are held every Tuesday at 7 p.m., with March 28th being the last day.
The discussions revolve around being a better parent, having a closer relationship with your child and improving family communication.
Other topics included are 'How to discover what "type" of parent you are', 'How to discover your child's personality type', 'How to overcome the major destroyer of families', 'How to provide loving support to your child', 'Contracts: Setting limits in a loving way', 'How to develop a close-knit family', 'Ten powerful ways to motivate your children', and 'How to use the "SALT" Principle to encourage family togetherness'.
