The Preceptor Alpha Upsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will meet at 7 p.m. today at Two Kings Pizza in Hometown. The meeting will include a Secret Sister Valentine exchange.

Topics of discussion included the sorority-sponsored Tamaqua Community Easter Egg Hunt, which will be held March 23, as well as a clothing drive for the first week in June at the American Hose Fire Company. Chapter members plan to attend a comedy night at the American Hose on Feb. 16.

Machay ended the meeting with safety tips concerning winter driving.

The Jan. 23 meeting was held at the home of Cathy Santee. Vice-president Wanda Keefer provided a quiz on the early history of Beta Sigma Phi. A thank you letter was received from Operation Enduring Care, a program helping wounded soldiers return to daily living and activities. The program received a donation from the sorority.
