State police probing Carbon burglary

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened at 2 a.m. Feb. 2 at a home in Towamensing Township.

police said they responded at 9:47 a.m. that day to 185 Chestnut Drive in the township an found someone had entered the residence through the front door by using force.

Stolen were a black Whirlpool dishwasher and a white Samsung stackable washer and dryer set.

Police said a white box truck was seen at the residence in the early morning hours.
