The annual history showcase of Schuylkill County's sixteen historical societies will take place Saturday inside Fairlane Village Mall, Route 61.

The Schuylkill County History Faire is set for 10 to 3 on February 9 and is offered free to the public.

Each year, all of the historical societies and related groups in the county get together to host the event. It is an interesting and fun filled day to celebrate county history by examining the activities of each historical society or related organization in Schuylkill County. Each organization typically hosts several tables filled with displays, information about their projects, and items for sale.

Representatives will be on hand from the Tamaqua Historical Society.
