NRA representative will speak in Lehighton
A representative of the National Rifle Association will speak during a meeting of the Lehighton 9/12 Project on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, 676 Stewart Creek Rd., Lehighton.
The meeting is open to anyone but reservations must be received by Feb. 10.
The program is in the form of a dinner meeting, with dinner served from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. and the speaker addressing the audience at 7 p.m.

The speaker is Dr. Diana Sorrentino of the BRG Firearms Training Academy, Hellertown.
Dr. Sorrentino is an NRA appointed training counselor, an NRA certified firearms instructor, and an NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.
She is lethal weapons certified.
She has been shooting competitively and handling firearms for over 45 years. She is a 34 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, an intelligence officer, a former foreign area officer, and security analyst who research, designs, develops, and conducts seminars and training programs.
The featured speaker currently coaches, instructs, and trains military, police, private security personnel, and civilians in defensive and tactical handgun skills.
Additionally, Dr. Sorrentino specializes in personal basic, advanced, and defensive firearms training for women.
