The Black Diamond Writers' Network wants to help new and experienced writers learn to market themselves and their books.

During the group's meeting on Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua, marketing professional Dina Tulli Davis of Jumpstart Creative Group will share with writers about how to properly market their books. Meetings are free and open to the public."There is a basic marketing formula to use to ensure your success in getting the word out about your work to the right people," says Davis, who is an award-winning graphic designer and marketer. "Learn about the proven path to effectively market yourself as a writer: discover the formula and how to get out there while creating a demand and following for what you have to offer."Davis holds a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from Neumann University and a coaching certification from Fowler Wainwright International School of Coaching. She has studied both fine arts and graphic design at various schools throughout the Philadelphia area. Originally from Chester County, Davis and her family presently reside in Albrightsville. For more information about the Black Diamond Writers Network, call Kathy Ruff at (570) 645-3059 or visit the Tamaqua Public Library website
