Tamra Veronsky and Mark Grim, both of Tamaqua, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cathryn Veronsky of Tamaqua and the late John Veronsky.She is a 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2011 graduate of Schuylkill Health School of Nursing. She is currently attending Penn State University, working toward a bachelor of science in nursing.She is employed as a registered nurse at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson Street.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Heather Welker of Tamaqua and Craig Grim of Allentown.He is a 2005 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. He is employed as a hydraulic technician at Hetran.The couple are planning a destination wedding for May 14 of this year.
