Schuylkill tax bureau sells 11 properties
Eleven area properties held in trust by the Schuylkill County Tax Claim Bureau for unpaid taxes were sold at an upset sale.
Properties are listed for upset sale after at least one year's taxes, or a portion thereof, have been delinquent for about two years. Properties are sold subject to whatever liens and encumbrances are against the property, with the exception of liens imposed by the state, federal government, municipalities and corporations, which must be included in the sale.
Properties were sold to the following:
Frances Swenson, 83 Third Street, Oneida Village, East Union Township: property at 136 First St., Oneida, for $7,500, sold as property of Henry J. and Erma A. Bridy.
Robert J. and Kaitlynn S. Stackhouse, 22 East Union Street, Tamaqua: property at 345 East Union St., Tamaqua, for $795, sold as property of Gerald W. Couch and Susan L. Kromer.
Alan R. and Ilona A. Kerr, 225 Washington Street, Tamaqua: property at 524 Elm St., Tamaqua, for $800, sold as property of George and Nora E. Woznnusky.
Jason Keller, 1933 State Route 963, Jim Thorpe: property at 23 Lower Beechwood Avenue, Foster Township, for $4,476, sold as property of Daniel Stephen Sobolesky.
Jason Keller, Jim Thorpe: property at 405 Dietrich Avenue, Porter Township, for $3,420, sold as property of ANS Services LLC.
Christian Montanero, McAdoo: lot on west side of Camelback Lane, North Union Township, for $661, sold as property of The Elizabeth E. Paszych Revocable Living Trust.
Christian Montanero, McAdoo: property at 570 Pine Creek Drive, Rush Township, for $5,923, sold as property of Glenn J. Faust and Gloria J. Dudash.
Keystone Frontier Investments, LLC, Barnesville: property at 2 Maple St., Ryan Township, for $4,090, sold as property of Kenneth and Debra A. Fegley.
Blackstone Funding, LLC, Orwigsburg: property at 200 Lewis Street, Schuylkill Township, for $5,936, sold as property of Charles D. Strouse Jr.
Jason Keller, Jim Thorpe; Blackstone Fundings LLC, Orwigsburg and W. Lowell Eckenroth, Leesport: each one third interest in property at 1803 Crazy Horse Drive, Lake Wynonah, South Manheim Township, for $38,000, sold as property of Hellmunt C. Bavier.
Blackstone Fundings, LLC, Orwigsburg and W. Lowell Eckenroth, Leesport: each one half interest in property at 6 Lower Road, Walker Township, for $6,000, sold as property of Joseph and Lola Hentosh.
