Tricks and hamburgers As Ronald McDonald performed some magic tricks for Gabriel and Mason Mattrazzo, the two boys dined on their free Happy Meals compliments of donations given to the Meed's Methodist Church in Nesquehoning. Each year the church has been manning the event for children of Nesquehoning and hopes to continue the gesture for the upcoming years with community donations.

The Nesquehoning Lions Club was one of the organizations who contributed money to pay for free lunches served to children of the Nesquehoning area at McDonald's over the Christmas break. Larry Williams of the Lions Club gives a check for $100 to Helen Applegate who arranged the meals through the Meed's Methodist Church. The ladies auxiliary of the church also donated $50. Seen with them are McDonald's characters Ronald McDonald and Grimace.
