Wallet is stolen in Monroe incident

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of a wallet from a motor vehicle in Monroe County.

The incident happened between 9:30-10:30 a.m. Dec. 24 at The Body Shop Training Center, 120 Schafer Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

The victim is Mark R. Syamcek, 56, of Brodheadsville.

Police said an unknown actor(s) smashed the left front window of the victim's 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a rock and stole his black leather wallet that was on the seat.

The total loss is $360, police said.
