Tamaqua incident

James Edward Thomas Gilson, 18, of 223 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, has been cited following an incident at Fegley's Mini Mart, 30-32 Center St., Tamaqua.

According to the police report, Gilson entered the mini mart at 4:27 p.m. on Sunday, despite previous warnings from police and the store manager that he was banned from the property.

Gilson allegedly picked up several items, then went to the cashier and paid for all of the items, except a $1.89 package of chocolate turtles.

He was cited for defiant trespass and retail theft.
