A Schuylkill County business has been cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violation of the liquor code.

Klingerstown Country Inn Inc., of 92 Main St., Klingerstown, Upper Mahantango Township, was cited for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one visibly intoxicated patron. The offense occurred on Sept. 15.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging form $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
