Published December 12. 2013 05:00PM

Four persons from Richmond, Va., were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 9 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks identified the victims as Quennasha Mallory, 22, the driver of the vehicle, and three passengers, Wernest Sedeno, 40, Najae Davis, 10, and Yvette Sedeno, 41.

Police said the severity of their injuries was not known. The victims were transported by ambulance to the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Police said the accident happened when a 2000 Mercedes-Benz was eastbound and the vehicle went off the roadway onto the shoulder of the road. Police said the operator steered the car back toward the roadway but the car struck a guide rail end located on the left shoulder of the roadway, after which time the car rolled over and came to rest on its wheels in the right lane of travel.

Police said the car sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.

Lake Harmony Fire and EMS volunteers assisted at the scene.
