Northern Lehigh School Board will continue to run under the same guidance next year.
Director Edward Hartman was unanimously reappointed as president, while Director Gary Fedorcha was unanimously reappointed as vice president, during the board's reorganizational meeting on Monday.
Upon being reinstalled, Hartman expressed thanks to his fellow colleagues on the board.
"Thank you, people," Hartman said. "I appreciate that."
Fedorcha also conveyed his appreciation to the board.
Afterward, Hartman took a moment to laud the board for its service to the district.
"I want to personally give a big congratulations to these people, who do one hell of a job," Hartman said. "They deserve a lot of recognition for all that they do."
Also as part of the reorganization, one new director was seated on the board.
Newcomer Robert J. Keegan Jr., of Washington Township, replaces former Director Lauren Ganser, whom he defeated in last month's general election.
Ganser had previously served 12 years on the board.
Immediately afterward, the board held its regularly scheduled board meeting, at which time Superintendent Michael Michaels praised board members for their service to the district.
"None of the positives we have right now, and the great direction the school district is headed, wouldn't have been if not for you," Michaels said. "Every one of you bring a unique talent."
The board will continue to meet at 7:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month.
