'Economic potential' of heritage corridor is topic of program
Business owners in search of ways to maximize the economic potential of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor could be in luck.
A presentation that will offer tips to "Learn How You Can Maximize the Economic Potential of the Trail" will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Slatington Trailhead Pavilion in Slatington.
Registration is at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and the program from noon to 1 p.m.
Sponsored by the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, the event will include a presentation from Elissa M. Garofalo, president/executive director of the D&L National Heritage Corridor.
Garofalo's presentation will focus on ways to discover the D&L, and share strategies with businesses to grow through trail amenities.
