Zoostock will be held Labor Day in Lansford

Organizers are completing plans for Zoo Crew's 15th Annual "Zoostock."

The free concert event takes place on Labor Day, Monday, September 2 from noon until 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Sports Zoo/Halftime Sports Bar at the West End of Lansford.

Proceeds benefit the Carbon/Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society.

Zoostock is held rain or shine and visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket.

Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

There will be food, beverages, entertainment, souvenir t-shirts and wristbands as well as activities for the kids.

Scheduled to perform this year are Cassidy Rose, Jay Smar, Cody Sassaman, Y.M.I. a DUO, Brad and Luke and the Jersey Cartwrights, The Brand, Toolshed Jack and A.D.D.

Last year's combined Zoo Crew events enabled the group to present the ACS with $22,000 during the annual televised ACS Ttelethon
