It may be under a new name, but its core values remain the same.

Keller Williams Real Estate in Palmerton will hold its grand opening from 3-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.

As part of the occasion, an iPad and other items will be raffled off to all those who attend. Refreshments will also be served.

Located at 362 Delaware Avenue, the business has been in operation since December. Prior to that, it had done business as Christman Realty since 1999.

Jim Christman, associate broker, said its mission statement is "careers worth having, businesses worth owning, and lives worth living."

Christman said that customers can expect "professionally trained and skilled real estate agents as part of a company that provides quality services and technology to their clients."

He said its niche area is residential homes within about a 30-mile radius, from Carbon County, to upper Lehigh and Northampton counties, as well as western Monroe County.

Keller Williams began in 1983. Since then, Christman said it's gone from a start-up company with two agents, to the largest real estate franchise in the country with 84,000 agents, "by helping agents build their business through advanced technology, education/training, and a company culture that shares information among agents in order to stimulate individual growth which then advances the company forward as well."

Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and evenings and weekends by appointment.

To schedule an appointment, call the office at (610)-826-8100.
