Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins will fill the streets of Jim Thorpe on Sunday, October 27 as the town's 2013 Halloween Parade makes it way down through the streets of the East side of the borough.

The parade is being organized and coordinated by the Jim Thorpe Lions Club Halloween Parade Committee.

It will start at 4 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe Area High School and travel down Center Street to 9th Street; then down 9th Street to North Street; down North Street to 5th Street; across 5th Street to Center Street; and down Center Street to 2nd Street where it will disband.

Busses will shuttle paraders back to Memorial Hall where there will be awards and refreshments for all of the parade participants.

Anyone wishing to participate in the parade can sign up before October 1.

Donations to help defray the costs of the parade will be accepted by the Lions Club.

Anyone interested in participating or donating can contact Parade Committee member Jim Trainer at 570-325-4104.
