State police at Lehighton reported on crashes probed by troopers.

A three-vehicle crash was reported about 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 along Meixell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Jared J. Gigliotti, 31, of Saylorsburg, driving a 1997 Ford F250 truck, failed to stop for a stop and struck the rear of a 1998 Ford Mustang driven by Zachary A. Brown, 16, of Effort, pushing it into a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz operated by Michele A. Coyle, 41, of Saylorsburg. All vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Brown and Coyle were injured, with Coyle taken to the Pocono Medical Center (PMC), East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance.

Troopers cited Gigliotti for following too closely and Brown for stopping, standing, and parking.

A crash was reported at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 21 along Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Harold P. Glass, 68, of Lehighton, was driving a 2013 Hyundai westbound while Richard L. Slutter, 74, of Nazareth, was driving a 2009 Toyota eastbound, making a left turn onto Berger Creek Road.

Troopers said Glass was traveling too fast for conditions and struck Slutter's vehicle.

A passenger with Glass, Linda Burgos, 51, of Lansford, was injured and taken to the Lehighton hospital by Mahoning ambulance.

Troopers cited Glass for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.

Rosales, 29, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 1999 Honda Accord southbound and attempting a left turn onto Ruby Court and was struck head-on by a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by Rhonda S. Gillen, 48, of Kunkletown, who was northbound.
