One person was jailed, and two were cited following two incidents in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incidents occurred about 1:21 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, in a parking lot at Renninger's Market, North Manheim Township.

Troopers said in one incident James Wolfe, 31, of Minersville, and Eric Marz, 40, of Schuylkill Haven, became involved in a verbal altercation. During the altercation Wolfe approached Marx and swung his fist at him. Marx then punched Wolfe in the eye, causing minor abrasions and bleeding. Both were cited for harassment.

Wolfe was also involved in a second incident. He attempted to approach a 20-year-old female from Saint Clair at the above location and yelled obscenities at her. The female had an active protection from abuse (PFA) order against Wolfe at the time.

Wolfe was taken into custody and arraigned on a charge of criminal contempt-violating the PFA order, before on-call District Judge James Reiley of Pottsville.

He was committed to the county prison after failing to post 10 percent of $15,000 bail.
