Sobriety checkpoints conducted next 2 weeks

The North Central Regional DUI Program has announced Sobriety Checkpoints and Roving Patrols will be conducted on State Routes 93, 209, 248, 443, 534, 902 and 903 during the weeks of Aug. 23 through Sept. 2 throughout Carbon County.

Travelers are reminded to report drunk drivers by dialing 911.

To report underage drinking call 1-888-UNDER-21.

Sobriety Checkpoints are funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
