Two arrested for Monroe incident

Two persons were arrested following an incident that occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, along Susquehanna Drive, Tobyhanna, Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they were dispatched to the area on a report of two individuals knocking on the caller's door. While en route police were told a female was now lying on the lawn of the caller.

On scene police found Nathan Helman, 27, of Shohola, Pike County, and Stephanie Conaboy, 30, of Wyoming, highly intoxicated. A warrants check was made and it was discovered that Conaboy had an active bench warrant for her arrest issued out of Luzerne County.

Both were taken into custody, charged with public drunkenness, and placed in the county prison in Snydersville.
