Williamson, Friedberg & Jones LLC open office in downtown Tamaqua

Noted as being Schuylkill County's largest and oldest full service law firm, Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLC. has opened a new office in downtown Tamaqua.
Its other locations include Pottsville, Pine Grove (Ravine), Hegins, Williamstown, Orwigsburg and Shenandoah.
"Our firm provides quality legal services to all clients from large corporations to individuals, providing representation ranging from highly complex problems to routine issues," said attorney J.T. Herber III. "As a firm, we are able to bring all the resources together here in Tamaqua."
In all, the firm consists of 16 attorneys and 29 support staff representing clients throughout Berks County, Carbon County, Northumberland County, Lebanon County, Dauphin County, as well as other locations in eastern and central Pennsylvania.
"We are excited to bring our type of legal expertise to the Tamaqua area," said attorney Lori Schafer Guzick. "We were drawn to the area via the kind people and impressive downtown community."
"In addition to offering various legal services to the area, we plan to give back and stay involved in the community," said attorney James E. Crossen III, who added that this office also serves as a closer locations for clients in Carbon County.
"Tamaqua is a very active community with an active Chamber of Commerce and an impressive business district," said attorney Julie A. Werdt. "That is another reason we were attracted to the area."
"We don't have to go far to shop for what we need," added Wertz, who said that she could purchase lunch, gifts and other items right outside their office."
"I can tell that everyone knows everyone in this community," said attorney Shelby G. Hostetter. "Everyone is close knit here."
"I have lived here most of my life," said main office manager Ann Baddick, who has been with the firm for 12 years. "I am extremely happy that the firm expanded to support the Tamaqua area."
Legal and law services offered by the firm consist of bankruptcy, business/corporate, criminal defense, elder law, estate planning, eminent domain/land condemnation, family law, landlord-tenant, litigation, personal injury, real estate transactions, will, estates and trusts and zoning. Crossen said that all services offered at the Tamaqua office are available at all their offices.
