Dr. Laura Stein and Dr. Jordan Carter have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Curt Stein of New Ringgold and Pamela Williams of Tamaqua. She is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School; a 2008 graduate of Muhlenberg College; and a 2012 graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine. She is a neurology resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charles and Christine Carter of Radnor, Pa. He is a 2004 graduate of Radnor High School; a 2008 graduate of Lehigh University; and a 2013 graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine. He is an internal medicine resident at Hahnemann University Hospital.A May 2014 wedding is being planned.
