The first day of school for all Panther Valley School District students will be Monday, Aug. 26. It will be a full day.

Schedules are as follows:• High school (grades 9-12), 7:35 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.• Middle school (grades 6-8), 8 a.m. to 2:52 p.m.• Elementary school (grades 1-5), 8:58 a.m. to 3:27 p.m.• Kindergarten a.m. session (Nesquehoning; Coaldale; Cortright Street, Lansford), 8:58 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.• Kindergarten p.m. session (Summit Hill; Lansford), 12:45 p.m. to 3:22 p.m.In-service activities are planned for staff members on Aug. 21-22.Freshman orientation will be held Aug. 22, 9-11 a.m.Middle school orientation will be held Aug. 22, 9-11 a.m.Elementary school orientation for new students will be held Aug. 19 at 11 a.m.
