Injuries are minor in Schuylkill crash

Paige M. Nebistinsky, 20, of Schuylkill Haven, escaped a one-vehicle crash at 4:28 p.m. Aug. 6 with only minor injuries after the Jeep she was driving crashed and overturned.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said the accident happened on Tumbling Run Road in North Manheim Township. Police said Nebistinsky was operating a 2000 Cherokee westbound when she lost control of it while negotiating a left curve in the roadway due to it being heavily covered with oil and chips.

Police said the Jeep left the roadway and struck a tree on the north bern, causing it to overturn once. it came to rest in an upright position facing soutthwest on the north berm.
