Rock throwing incident probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a rock-throwing incident along a Schuylkill County road.

Troopers said a truck tractor and trailer was being driven southbound on SR61 near The Pines Development, in West Brunswick Township, when someone threw a rock at the vehicle. The rock struck the lower driver's side windshield. The truck is owned by National Freight, of Vineland, N.J. Troopers did not identify the truck driver.

The incident occurred about 9:18 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4. No injuries were reported.
