April 27, 1957 Nesquehoning captures the final event, the mile relay, to win the annual Carbon County track meet. Bill Sotak sprints to victory in the 220 while Tony Malaska claims the top spot in the broad jump. The two also combine with Joe Vignone and Bob Macenka for the win in the mile relay. The Warriors, coached by Bob Steventon, also receive a first from John Ferko in the shot put.
