A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of scattering of rubbish following an incident that occurred about 8:20 p.m. on April 18.

State police at Lehighton said Robert Beers was cleaning up the roadside along Windy Hill Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, when he came across some trash and found numerous letters addressed to Kayla Lynn Johnson, 21, of Kunkletown.

Troopers responded to the scene and confirmed that Johnson was the person responsible for depositing the rubbish.
