Two Monroe County residents are facing felony drug counts.

State police at Fern Ridge identified the two as Paul W. Rider, 21, and his mother, Kristin A. Rider, 54, both of 321 Hazella Rd., in Jackson Township.According to troopers on Sunday, April 21, about 3:30 p.m. they received information from the New Jersey state police station at Netcong that they had arrested Paul Rider following at traffic stop along Interstate 80 westbound. He was found to be in possession of heroin.New Jersey authorities learned that Rider was operating an indoor marijuana grow at his residence.Fern Ridge troopers then obtained a search warrant for the residence and served it Sunday. Kristin Rider was in the home at the time the warrant was served.Found in the home was 16 marijuana plants and related indoor growing equipment.Both are facing various drug counts, troopers said.
