Bethlehem man facing theft count

A Bethlehem man is facing theft and a related count for an incident in Jim Thorpe.

Borough police said on Nov. 9, 2012, they received a report from Leffler's Minit Mart, 1103 North St., that on Nov. 2, about noon, employee Davonte Dont'e Moore, 18, of Bethlehem, removed $45 in cash from a drawer in a back room.On Feb. 22, Moore was interviewed by police and admitted to the theft. He has been charged with misdemeanor three counts of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, police said.
