A Dauphin County driver is facing charges following an accident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Sean Lubold, 21, of Lykens, was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck northbound on Fearnot Road, in Hubley Township, about 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, when, for unknown reasons, the truck went onto the east berm. The truck traveled through a field and struck a posted sign.Lubold backed the truck into the driveway at 816 Fearnot Road then accelerated and traveled straight across the road and into a ditch along the east berm. The rear axle of the truck lifted into the air and the truck was partially sticking out onto the road.Lubold then left the scene but was later found at his residence. He was found to be under the influence and was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, where he submitted to a blood test. A driving under the influence (DUI) charge is pending the test results. Damages to the truck were termed minor.
