Carbon United Way holds annual dinner meeting

Macaluso's at The Lantern in Nesquehoning was the setting for the 2013 Annual Dinner Meeting of the United Way of Carbon County (UWCC).

The mission of the United Way of Carbon County is "to support and serve local agencies in their efforts to increase the organize capacity of people to care for and help one another".Along with dinner and the agency's meeting, those attending also watched a presentation about CTC Manufacturing, Inc. by the guest speaker Steve Peterson.The following participating UWCC Agencies were present at the event: CTC Manufacturing, Inc.; ARC of NEPA; Family Promise of Carbon County; Healthy Smiles Dental Van; Human Resource Center; Meals on Wheels; Shepherd House; PathStone; Girl Scouts of Eastern PA; Carbon County Action Committee; Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge; Penn State Extension Carbon County Prosper; and Salvation Army.The 2013 UWCC Board Members in attendance were: Bob Gaudreau, Greg Bott, Bernetta Frantz, Mindy Graver, Lisa Bleicher, Angela Marie Nardini, Oscar Santizo, and Donna Lennon.Anyone interested in information about the United Way of Carbon County can visit their website at
