Carbon United Soccer Club Team Mayhem won the U13/14 championship at the 6th Annual Hunter Meckes Soccer Tournament. It was the third straight year that Team Mayhem has captured a championship at the tournament. The team had a 2-0-1 tournament record, defeating FC Pocono, 4-1; Carbon United Soccer Club Team Stealth, 8-0; and finishing with a 1-1 tie against Towamencing Soccer Club Thunder. Team Mayhem, which plays in the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League, consists of boys and girls from Jim Thorpe, Tamaqua, Panther Valley, Palmerton, and Lehighton.
