Carbon man jailed on theft counts

A Carbon County man was jailed on Monday after he was arrested on theft and related charges.

Kidder Township police said James Bradley Huff, 33, of White Haven, was arrested on charges of felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

He was charged for an incident that occurred on Sept. 12, 2012, at the Boulder View Tavern. A total of $6,316 in cash was taken from a safe.

Huff was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Homanko, of Weatherly, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning in lieu of $40,000 cash bail.
