April 17, 1964 Don Jones collects two hits and knocks in a pair of runs to help Lansford post a 7-5 victory over Northwestern. The Panthers, coached by Vince Spisak, jump out to a 6-0 advantage and hang on for the win. Paul Goida contributes two hits, one a double, and knocks in a run while Ed Sabol adds two hits and a run scored. John Zubek also chips in with a two-run single. Mike Lukac gains the mound win, allowing just two hits in his five innings of work.
