Nesquehoning crime watch guest

Lt. David Midas of the Carbon County Sheriff's Department spoke to members of the Nesquehoning Crime Watch recently. He gave each one booklets pertaining to Crime Prevention and his business card in case anyone needs to contact him. Midas has been a police officer for 13 years and works in the Sheriff's Office for the past eight years. He told the group that they are there to supply any information for the purpose of a crime watch. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m. in the borough council chambers. Pictured are Lt. Midas and Nesquehoning Mayor Tony Walck, the coordinator of the Crime Watch group.
